Checking your child’s development is on track

Do you have questions or concerns about your child’s speech, behaviour, motor skills, learning or development? An early years screening can help identify whether some extra support may be beneficial.

Early years screenings are short developmental checks where our speech pathologists and occupational therapists use fun, age-appropriate activities to see how a child is tracking with areas such as communication, fine motor skills, self-regulation and school readiness.

The one-on-one screening session takes around 30 minutes and provides families and educators with early insights and recommendations where needed.

By identifying concerns early, children and families can access support sooner, before challenges become barriers to learning and participation.

Our team is available to deliver in-person early years screenings at kindergartens, childcare centres and schools across Western Queensland.

Interested in hosting a screening at your school, kindy or childcare centre? We’d love to hear from you.
